Longer, more intense pollen periods affect millions
The allergy season in the United States is becoming increasingly challenging, with longer and more intense pollen periods affecting millions. Climate change, characterized by milder winters and extended growing seasons, contributes to this prolonged exposure. The Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America has identified cities such as Boise, Idaho; San Diego; Tulsa, Oklahoma; Provo, Utah; and Rochester, New York, as being particularly affected, with high pollen concentrations making allergy management difficult.
