• The National Weather Service has forecasted scattered showers and thunderstorms across western and north-central New York on Thursday, August 6,
• Areas including Monroe, Niagara, Orleans, Erie, Genesee, Wyoming, Chautauqua, and Cattaraugus counties may experience localized heavy rainfall and strong wind gusts. Further east, regions such as Wayne, Northern Cayuga, Oswego, Lewis, Livingston, Ontario, and Allegany counties could also see similar conditions. While no severe weather watches or warnings are currently in effect, unsettled weather is expected to persist into Friday, with additional showers and thunderstorms possible.
